Shore-Side Tier IV Fleet Systems Engineer- Yokouska, Japan (immediate need)
Skills/Experience required:
– Experience with ONE-NET preferred
– Well rounded experience with Windows 2008 Server/AD, Cisco networking, VM Ware, Exchange highly desired
– Experience with migrating domains preferred. Far East is still migrating customer commands and Tier IV provides coordination
– Ability work with a number of customers (site, San Diego engineering, San Diego ISEA, etc.). Ability to communicate well in writing.
– Project management ability; ability to coordinate and lead projects as required
– IAT2 minimum with IAT3 (CISSP) preferred. IAT3 OS certification in Windows Server/AD or Cisco highly preferred.

Various Short-Term needs supporting the Navy in Italy (Mid-June thru end of Sept.)
Systems Engineer – Administration – Windows
a. Experience with DoD networks including security requirements; experience with preparing for Computer Security Inspection (CSIJ/CCRI) highly desired
b. Experience with Windows including STIGs, patching, IAVAs, required. Experience with other systems such as Cisco/Unix desired.
c. Experience with administration of MOC C2 Program of Record and other systems such as CENTRIXS, GCCS-J/M, C2RPC, ADSI, LMMT, MDA, etc. required
d. Experience with VMWare highly desired
e. Experience with Retina Scan and/or other required tools and remediation of security findings required
f. Familiarity with HBSS required
g. IAT2 certified: Windows Server 2003 or 2008, Security + minimum

Systems Engineer – Administration – Unix/Linux
a. Experience with DoD networks including security requirements; experience with preparing for Computer Security Inspection (CSIJ/CCRI) highly desired
b. Experience with Linux/Unix, including STIGs, patching, IAVAs, required. Experience with other systems such as Cisco/Windows desired.

Information Assurance Engineer
a. Experience with DoD networks including security requirements; experience with preparing for Computer Security Inspection (CSIJ/CCRI) required
b. Experience with coordination with systems administrators for scanning and remediation of Windows, Linux/Unix, and network systems required. Experience with remediation of C2 systems such as GCCS-J/M, CENTRIXS, MDA, C2PC, AIS-NSSUS, ADSI, etc. highly desired.
c. Experience working with government IA Manager (IAM) for documentation of remediations and mitigations required.
d. Experience with HBSS required; experience with use of HBSS on C2 systems highly desired.
e. IAT3 required (CISSP). OS certification/training on Cisco, Windows and/or Unix desired.

Shore-Side Fleet Systems Engineer San Diego, CA
A college degree is desired. A certification from Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) is highly desirable. Courses taken and/or tests successfully passed towards an MCSE certification are desired. A minimum of five years, to include a combination of experience in network management, network management experience of Navy C4I programs, Navy C4I programs for ONE NET is required. The Shore Network Engineer(s) shall be capable of acting as a team leader and backing up the Shore Lead Engineer. Each shall be capable of providing evaluations and recommendations to the highest levels of the Navy. Each shall have the system level engineering expertise and technical training to support the scope and requirements of all the programs listed in Section 3 herein for any network issue. Familiarity with the operating system Microsoft Windows and Active Directory is a requirement. Familiarity with other operating systems, such as UNIX, is desired.

Job Requirements
– Manage patch compliance for Microsoft servers and workstations and other third party software products deployed on the enterprise
– Scan systems for security compliance prior to patch release
– Troubleshoot software distribution/ deployment issues
– Work with ISEA SMEs on a variety of different platforms as well as Tier III and Tier IV personnel worldwide

Experience required
– Six to ten years of IT experience, with two to four years of experience on ONE-NET or NMCI preferred, or other DoD Enterprise network
– Experience with Microsoft Windows 2008 and Windows 7 required. Familiarity with VMware desired.
– Experience with building and deploying patches using Tivoli Patch Management preferred but other enterprise patch distribution systems considered
– Ability and experience with packaging packages for enterprise distribution, scanning systems and troubleshooting software distribution failures required.
– Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and WSUS highly desired.
– Experience with DoD IAVM process, STIGs highly desired.
– Experience with Retina and MSBA highly desired.

Other:
– Candidate must have and maintain DoD IAWF IAT 2 certification with a current MCITP, MCSA or MCSE and Security+ certifications as minimum requirement.
– Expectation is for a normal 40 hour workweek with little travel.

Afloat Network Engineer- San Diego, CA, Norfolk, VA, and Sasebo, Japan
A college degree is desired. A certification from Microsoft as a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) is highly desirable. Courses taken and/or tests successfully passed towards an MCSE certification are desired. A minimum of six years’ experience, to include a combination of experience in network management, network management experience of Navy C4I programs, and experience in Navy C4I programs for IT-21, is required. It is considered critical that these personnel demonstrate a thorough understanding of the end to end Navy C4I architecture. The Afloat Network Engineer(s) shall be capable of acting as a team leader and be capable of providing evaluations and recommendations to the highest levels of the Navy. Each shall have the system level engineering expertise and technical training to support the scope and requirements of all the programs listed in Section 3 herein for any network issue. Familiarity with the operating system Microsoft Windows is a requirement. Familiarity with other operating systems, such as UNIX, is desirable.
