Need Microsoft Office 2013, You Can Get A Copy For $9.95

Did you know Department of the Navy government civilian and uniformed personnel can obtain Microsoft Office software for installation on their home computers for less than $10?

Civilian and military users presently on the Navy Marine Corps Internet (NMCI) can obtain a licensed copy of the latest version of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project to install and use on a home computer– if Microsoft Office is also installed on their NMCI computer.

The DON, through its contract with Hewlett Packard for NMCI, is a participant in Microsoft’s Home Use Program (HUP). Microsoft offers the following applications under DON’s HUP program: Office Professional Plus 2013, Project Professional 2013, Visio Professional 2013, and Office for Mac 2011, Business and Home.

Participants must have these products also installed on their NMCI computers and have a valid NMCI email address in order to participate. If users have a non-NMCI computer or a legacy computer, even though they have connectivity to the NMCI network, they cannot participate in the HUP. Contractors are ineligible to participate.

The cost for the Microsoft Office package is $9.95 for processing and handling, plus local sales tax payable via a credit card for an electronic download.
